Last year, many activities were canceled and life felt quite grey. However, this year we have the Stucki Farms Easter Egg Hunt on March 27th, the Cottontail Scramble on March 29th, the St. George Arts Festival April 2nd-3rd, and the Hurricane Valley Rotary Car show April 3rd. It’s feeling more like spring!
The Stucki Farms Easter Egg Hunt is at the Stucki Resort and runs from 10am to 2pm where thousands of eggs will be scattered across the property, so all the children can get a basket of fun. Bring your whole family as there will be pictures with the Easter Bunny, lots of lawn games, face painting, live music, and more. The egg hunt is free and general entrance is free, but other activities may cost. You can even bring your swimsuit and float down their lazy river! The Cottontail Scramble is at the Tonaquint Nature Park and the fun starts at 5:15pm for pictures with Peter Cottontail. The egg hunt is for children from 2-8 years old, starts at 6pm, and registration is $3.50. You can buy tickets to register in person or online at .

For family fun everyone can enjoy, the 42nd Annual St. George Arts Festival runs Easter weekend, both Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd from 10am to 6pm. This has been a tradition for our community since 1980. Originally showcasing local artists, the St. George Arts Festival now expands its invitation to artists all over the United States, featuring well over 100 unique artists. There will be other vendors, plus entertainment, food, kid activities, history, and more. It’ll be held at the Historic Town Square: 50 S. Main Str. St. George, Utah 84770.
Easter Saturday brings another fun, family activity. The Hurricane Valley Rotary Easter Car Show, which has been going for 35 years is back! Come see some of the coolest, classic cars Southern Utah and surrounding areas have to offer. There will be other vendors for food, games, and entertainment meant for all ages and lovers of cars. This event will be held Saturday the 3rd from 9am to 5pm out at the Hurricane City Community Center. A charitable donation of $5.00 gets you into the event, with children 6 years and younger, free. If you own a cool car and want to enter it in the show, it’s a $20 registration fee for your first car and $15 per additional car.
